FOLD 2025 Midyear Report
FOLD’s 2025 focus will be on the discipleship of our university students and leadership training for our coworkers. Building on the fruits produced over the past year of discipleship training, we will continue the format of small discipleship groups of no more than 3 students per group. With the addition of 5 more male students and 2 more female students, we will expand our groups to 3 Male and 3 female student groups.
FOLD currently has 2 full time coworkers and 1 intern coworker. Everyone has completed a year long discipleship training. They are now going through our leadership training using the “21 Laws of Leaderships” material by John Maxwell. It is our hope to continue producing more godly young leaders, so they will be able to multiply our efforts in making more disciples for our Lord.
One of the fruits of our discipleship program is the joy of transformed lives experienced by our students and coworkers. This experience is so impactful for their growth that they desire for other young people to receive it as well. As a result, we have decided on 2 new ministries for 2025. First, we have started an online platform ministry call “The Provider.” It is our goal to introduce the joy of following Jesus by posting daily life snapshots, serving events, original Christian music, and life changing testimonies from our students. Second, we will be hosting a Christian Leadership Training Camp for local young leaders recommended by their pastors.
The abundant blessing of our Lord is evident from the fruits produced by our children in the orphanage. Along with our loving supporters’ steadfast prayer, and the loving guidance from our university students, many have experienced God’s love and providence. 1 graduate has become a Lahu tribal ministry coworker; 3 has gone on to technical colleges, 2 has graduated form bible colleges, and 1 student is preparing to enter bible college.
With hearts full of thanksgiving, we attended our eldest American daughter Priscilla’s university graduation form Calvin university. She will return to her alma mater Chiang Rai International Christian School shortly after to teach English Literature as a missionary teacher. Our youngest daughter Paulina will also return to Chiang Rai after her graduation in two years to start her mission work. By the grace of our Lord, the original 4 members of Family of Loving Disciples will regather in Chiang Rai to continue the good work God has called us to do.

Please pray for our student discipleship program. May the Spirit of truth transform our student’s lives greatly in 2025. We will increase our discipleship groups from 4 to 7 in 2025 to accommodate 6 new students entering our program.

Please pray for our 2 full-time coworkers and 1 intern coworker. For their spiritual lives and leadership skills to grow steadily through our training. And for their salary fundings to be provided.

Please pray for our summer season planned activities and programs, to produce much fruits among the lives of our young people for the kingdom of God.

Please Pray for our 5 Bible College students. For their learning and internship to abundantly equip them. Please especially remember our bible student Esther who studies in Myanmar. May the Lord protect her and guide her studies amidst Myanmar's civil war.

Please pray for our new social media ministry “The Provider”. May the Lord use contents of young disciples of Jesus to bring many to Christ. Please also pray for the funding needed to purchase the necessary equipment for this ministry. Estimated cost is $6,000 USD.

Please pray for FOLD’s need for another 4x4 vehicle to accommodate meet the increasing number of students and coworkers. The estimated cost is $30,000 USD.

Please pray for FOLD’s 2025 operating budget. The estimate is $140,000 USD (including $30,000 for the 4x4) Praise God, we have received $30,231 in 2025 thus far.
